Singularity Sky

I’ve been on a sci-fi and fantasy reading jag this month with The Caves of Steel (good), Paladin of Souls (very good), The Naked Sun (good), Throne of Jade (meh), and Foundation (as dry as I remembered, but ultimately good.) I just started Charles Stross’s Singularity Sky which is kind of like William Gibson and Cory Doctorow doing space opera, only with more sex (how’s that for lazy hyperbole?) This is a good thing.

Also, the fact that S is starting to teach her class on Beowulf, Arthur, and Lord of the Rings this week makes me a proud nerd husband.

Wow, I didn’t know how deep you were into the nerdy. I should introduce you to my friend Stacy who is an editor for Wizards of the Coast.

My dream job by the way.
