Pop Astronaut

I’m back and so is The Doctor

I planned to close down Pop Astronaut, but it turns out posting to two blogs isn’t much more difficult than posting to one. Besides, I like writing about genre, toys, and space monsters. Sorry to jerk you around. I promise not to make any rash decisions in the near future.

Speaking of the future, or at least time, the new season of Doctor Who premiered on the BBC last night and not a moment too soon. Since Battlestar Galactica went on hiatus last week, I worried that Lost would be my only weekly genre TV date.

Freema Agyeman is great as new companion Martha Jones and Russell Davies brilliant take on the show continues as he slaps Space Rhinos, blood voles and David Tennant’s Doctor in the middle of an episode of Grey’s Anatomy. Bravo.

    Welcome back!

Wait, this isn’t some sort of April Fools’ stunt, right?

    :-)

  2. Astronaut Says:

No, no I promise. Not an April fools joke.

[…] Bonus: The great purge is not a one woman job. Soon I’m going to break for dinner and a movie with J (likely The Namesake, though he’s lobbying heavily for Blades of Glory). Then I’m going to rope him into helping me. A lot of this detritus is his anyhow. Like the multiple computer towers and monitors languishing in the basement. Plus: I’m glad Pop Astronaut is back. And: Missing the kid already. […]

    Schizo!

    Battlestar Galactica is so awesome.

  6. Astronaut Says:

Yes, it Cindy. YES IT IS.
