I Am Legend gets Philip K. Dicked
Saw the trailer for I Am Legend today (via Geeks of Doom) and my expectations are now firmly in check. Looks like Richard Matheson’s great, little pulp scifi novel is getting the Philp K. Dick treatment. In other words, take the basic idea from a great piece of fiction, change all the details , and make a bombastic piece of crap.
Who am I kidding? I’m a sucker for apocalyptic movies, so I’ll probably see it, but there better be an army of vampire mutants or I’m going to be pissed.
