The demo video for Nintendo’s new console is up on You Tube and it has me excited. If the unusual controller scheme works out, this could be a hell of a lot of fun.

What Nintendo fangirls and boys have always known is that artistry in gaming is vastly more important than hardware. I just hope I don’t have to do a somersault in the living room to control Samus in the next Metroid game.

I get a little lift when I see a company like Nintendo trying to innovate themselves into the market rather than rely on hardware and price bloat like the XBOX 360 and PS3.
