Powers of Ten

Charles and Ray Eames‘ film Powers of Ten is profound and inspiring, but when I watched it on YouTube for the 10,000th time, I abruptly remembered that it has a peculiar effect on my balance. Every time I watch it (in classrooms, theaters, at my desk) I start to slip forward and have a moment of panic as I decide if I’m going to faint. It’s not particularly trippy or unsettling, I love it with all my heart but, swear to god, this happens every time. wtf?
