Technorati squandering some good will

After reading Kottke’s post about Technorati, I went back and checked how my tags were doing. They haven’t been showing up in Technorati tag results since…well they’ve never worked actually. I’m almost ready to give up on tagging posts (for Technorati anyway), but love the idea of Technorati enough to give them a few more weeks to sort things out. Based on their track record, Adaptive Path has my full attention with their announcement of Measure Map. This fall might find a few changes for folksonomies. We’ll see.

In the meantime, I’m actually posting again to see if it works. Don’t get your hopes up.

Update: Wow. That actually worked. Maybe I should post a mea culpa…lets see how the next few posts fare.

Update: Actually, it looks like the Wordpress plugin I’m using doesn’t quite work, tags have to be within the post for Technorati to pick them up. Okay, mea culpa.
