Seattle Webloggers in the paper

The Seattle P-I has an article up about last week’s Seattle Weblogger Meetup. It’s mostly a puff piece, but it’s nice to see these folks get some ink in a local paper. I’ve always meant to to one of these, but I I’ve been busy and antisocial lately.

I don’t agree with the idea that all bloggers are attention whores. Sure, I’m happy when I get a comment or my stats go up, but part of the joy of blogging is the message in a bottle quality of tossing my writing and ideas out into the ether. Now, vloggers on the other hand…

    Well yeah you should come next month.

    When I said “We are attention whores” it as a joke about the people there.

    I can’t belive the PI published be saying “whores” and “bollocks”

    Sorry if I took that out of context. I think it’s awesome they quoted your colorful language. Just think, you’ll be immortalized on Google with those keywords.
