Akismet kills spam dead
Just installed Akismet after reading about it over on Robert Scoble’s blog. Hopefully this means I’ll actually write some blog entries rather than deleting spam all the time. Maybe I should also look at upgrading my WordPress install some day soon.
Akismet is a WordPress plugin that uses distributed spam feedback from bloggers to block the more common varieties of crap that end up in your comments.

hee hee. i was thinking the very same thing _before_ i installed askimet. and haven’t been bothered by spam _ever_ anytime since. don’t know if i’ve just been lucky so far, but askimet has literally a 100% success rate on my weblog. not too bad for 3 months, huh? so anyway, good luck and enjoy the extra time you get for your postings… ;)
