I first ran across Pancake Mountain a few months ago while searching for Arcade Fire performance footage. On checking back and watching this amazing Ted Leo performance, I wonder if it isn’t the coolest kid’s show in history.

The level of excitement at these performances brings a tear to my eye. There may be some hope left for the younger generation.

Pancake Mountain is based in Washington D.C. and looks like Krusty the Clown with a decidedly pomo twist.
