The Memorial

My dad’s memorial service was this afternoon and I’m still reeling a bit.  Terry, the minister at Bellevue Presbyterian Church presided over a touching celebration of his life and hopefully brought comfort and some small measure of closure to a lot of people, myself included.

The Seattle Times posted a couple of obituaries about my dad.  Both are nice and if they err on the side of his community achievements and work life that’s okay.  My dad was proud of his accomplishments and did a lot of good work for Seattle and various non-profits in the area.

Finally, thanks for all of your thoughts and kind words over the past two weeks.  You have no idea how much they mean to me.
