Tideland
If you’re a Terry Gilliam fan, it’s safe to say that The Brother’s Grimm wasn’t a happy experience. Let’s face it, that film wasn’t a pleasant experience for anyone, but Terry Gilliam is a genius and his redemption might well be on the horizon.
Tideland looks wonderful. Gilliam understands that children (of all ages) need more darkness in their fairy tales and this one looks to deliver on that in spades. In my book, the man responsible for Time Bandits, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and Brazil gets to make a few crappy movies. He’ll repay our patience with something good eventually, right? Right?!?!

man let’s hope so. as you said: Brother’s Grimm was none too pleasant. maybe doing something small is just exactly the thing he needs? wonder why he’s never tried to side step the crushing budget concerns he always seems to run up against by returning to his roots with some good ol fashioned animation?
