Is HBO cancelling Rome?
There’s a story on Aint it Cool News that speculates that HBO might not be ordering Rome for a second season due to budgetary constraints and competition from Desperate Housewives. Let’s hope this doesn’t come to pass; Rome is a great show and Desperate Housewives is silly crap masquerading as witty social critique. Plus, I really need to see Anthony and Octavian take down Brutus.

Please don’t let it be true. I want to see Brutus taken down, yes, but it’s mostly because I NEED to see Marc Antony and Cleopatra gettin’ it on.
