I love the comic book store
Wow. Yesterday I went to the comic book store and both people working behind the counter were female. Not only that, but I counted not four, not five, but six women shopping in the hallowed aisles of Zanadu Comics.
I guess the terrible cliché of comic book stores as a shadowy den of adolescent male power fantasies has been defeated, at least in my neck of the woods.
Maybe I don’t buy comics as much as I used to. Maybe this is old news, but it made me happy nonetheless.

You should also try the Traband Chai Lounge (http://www.trabantchailounge.com/) that is right next to Zanadu Comics. They have free wifi and their mexican moccas are to die for. Nice place to hang out and read comics that you just bought at Zanadu.
