It’s Jerry Time

It's Jerry TimeIt’s Jerry Time is a podcast (or whatever they’re calling them these days) detailing the little indignities of life in animated form.

Drawn! and Boing Boing have compared it to the work of Harvey Pekar (American Splendor) and that seems like a fair comparison. In any event, it’s good and you might want to check it out. By the way, you don’t need special software or an iPod to check this stuff out you know. Just a computer and a few minutes.

I’m amazed at how much cool animation is available on the web. Is there some kind of renaissance going on or have there always been a million brilliant animators hanging around, working in obscurity, waiting for the internet to expose them to the world?
