Here’s a neat super-8 film of someone driving from Olympia to Seattle, compressed into 2 minutes. I must have made this trip 100 times when I was in school, but my best time was 50 minutes. Impressive.

When I was 5 years old, for my birthday I got a Mego Superman and Batman, a Six-Million Dollar Man doll and the Star Trek belt set, all seen here. Since I was five in 1977, it seems that toys stuck around much longer in the olden days.
