It *almost* looks like РОЖДЕСТВО, except for the Д being an A. That makes the would-be Santa Worm the Worm of Hideous Birth.

Hey there, glad you like the blog!
The first issue of The Umbrella Academy was really good, you should definitely pick it up. And I read that the guy from My Chemical Romance went to SVA, so I guess he's an artistic guy as well?

Pleased to meet you! Though this has little to do with your entry, I am just stopping by to say thank you for the GrandCentral invite. Now, on to changing all the information on my website, cards, and so forth.

Slightly. But honestly, most of my friends will say that they don't know anyone as crazy as me. I'm not sure if that's a good thing.

[...] Bonus: Soon I Will Be Invincible was a wonderful read (and over all too soon). Next up? Heart-Shaped Box, which comes highly recommended. Plus: A friend just got back from ten days in Denmark. Now if he’d just post some photos from the trip. And: I feel like I killed seen heard read. The last post came just after James met me, and he hasn’t posted since. [...]

> Until the letdown of The Life Aquatic...

Oh, good -- we weren't the only ones! Prairie and I enjoyed Rushmore and Tenenbaums a lot, were really looking forward to The Life Aquatic...and then got so dreadfully bored that we never ended up finishing it. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Darjeeling, though.

[...] Bonus: “Top 10 science fiction novelists of the ’00s — so far” - I’ve read a number of these authors. Well technically I read their books, and enjoyed them a great deal. Going to have to hit up recent works by the authors I liked the most. Richard Morgan in particular. Plus: A fetish for everything…I give you BikiniRama, featuring German women in bikinis beating up on electronics. And: Joe shares my apprehension. [...]

Thanks for the comments guys. The critical difference between Alias and Lost is that the show runners—aside from Abrams—seem to know what the hell they're doing. Also, Brian K. Vaughn being hired as story editor gives me a little hope.

Alias was a big disappointment, I'll give you that.
